Hike at MacLeod Pond

The Deerfield River Watershed Association is continuing its hikes to help people know the wonderful spots in their watershed. On Saturday, April 25, there will be an easy (less than one mile) hike in to MacLeod Pond in the Catamounts. This is a very special small lake and a beautiful spot. From there, some can return to their cars or there are interesting hikes around the pond or to other smaller ponds in the area. We will meet at the state parking lot on Route 2 in East Charlemont at 10:00 a.m. to car pool since parking is limited at the trail head.
